Po podłączeniu modemu gsm zazwyczaj wystarczy zrobic eject /dev/sr1
niestety huawei jest na to odporny :(
Aby go odpalic wystarczy:
$ sudo apt-get install usb-modeswitch usb-modeswitch-data
$ sudo usb_modeswitch -v 12d1 -p 1001 -H 1
teraz networkmanager juz widzi modem, w dmesgu otrzymamy potwierdzenie tego faktu:
